Don`t do it.
Been there done that, it just makes it unrideable.

Bob

Understand where you are coming from. I have finally got round to having the engine built. I am thinking 17 inch rear and 19 inch front. Drop the forks down slightly in the yokes and possibly fit a shorter rear spring.

Any contacts for wheel builders?

I will be running it with smaller tank and no plastics.

The geometry changed so much because the front end was so low that I kept sliding forward and squashing my best friend against the tank when braking
Not only was it painful but it was difficult to brake as the bike wanted to do a stoppie every time, which is not a good idea in the wet.
Also, because the bike turned so quick I found myself being a complete hooligan and chasing sports bikes through the twisties and generally living right on the edge, which invariably leads to lots of pain and expensive repair bills, so I quit while I was ahead.
I changed it back to standard and it felt much more balanced and definitely safer.
