About a thousand mile round trip from Calais plus lots of riding when we get there, so ruff tuff iron butts only ;)
Mind you, Nathan has a 3 bike trailer and a Vulva estate which is an option.
Beats having to wear Pampers ;)

But I like the feel of the wind in my face and the flies and the rain and the wind beaten rain tan ...... and the resultant sore butt, it all reminds me that I have been somewhere worthwhile for sometime after, like a memento or scar that reminds me that I did actually have some time away from work. :lolno: :wtf:
Volvos are culture for Swedes, how the hell they ever came up with the Koenigsegg One:1 super car is a complete mystery (0-248 mph in 20 seconds) and I suspect a little supernatural involving lots of drugs and some Germans but ..... if Nath should feel like purchasing one of them with a towbar, Id be happy to be riding in the front seat or even on the trailer
Now wheres me walnuts ...... :D

But Dave, you have a plush comfy seat designed to caress your derriere unlike the plank designed by Torquemada that we have to suffer :o
600 miles of motorway each way may see Nathan and myself in need of lashings of Preparation H and baby cream otherwise
We want to be up for the fiendishly challenging ride outs our German friends have planned without need for medical intervention halfway through
How Gaston Rahier ever rode a Big 5000 miles across the Sahara is beyond me, though he was up on the pegs for most of it

Been keeping an eye on the German Big forum for news of the next Dr Big rally and it`s just been announced.
http://www.dr-big.de/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 16#p310747 right click for "translate to English",though it still comes out all a bit jumbled but you`ll get the idea.
Looks like it`s being organised by Stefan Hessler himself, and it seems there`s a treasure hunt type thingy through the forest with roadbook and all, plus other events.
As you would expect it`s well organised and they are very friendly bunch and a bit eccentric and we like that. And they like to drink lots of beer!
It`s on 10/11/12 June and I expect Staubig will be on here at some point with more info.
Its a bit of a slap to get there and as motorways are zzzzz I might make a week of it and visit some Maginot line and Westwall and off the beaten track stuff on the way.
