Ferry Discounts.

Postby dave#22 » Thu Dec 03, 2015 10:34 am

I went to the NEC Bike show on Tuesday and spotted the Brittany Ferries stand offering 10% discount on bookings for next year, so I picked up a leaflet with the discount code on the back.
I phoned Brittany Ferries and explained that I'd made a booking two weeks ago and a discount was offered at the NEC and would they honour it and the answer was yes, so my £840 has been reduced by 10%....£84 off.
If you are planning to use Brittany Ferries next year, book before 31st Dec...0330 159 6735 discount code....610921 for 10% off and if asked, the code was from the NEC Bike Show.
Dave.

I wish....Portsmouth - Bibao and Cherbourg - Portsmouth with my old Camper and DRnotsoBIG on the back....to a Moto Guzzi Rally...they will be well chuffed (not) when they see a Suzuki, we'll probably be excommunicated.

I checked out the Portsmouth-Bilbao route with them and the thieving swine wanted over £500, so I rode down through France which was much more interesting.

I like rural France, which is why last Summer we went down to Bilbao (camper + bike), toured Northern Spain then the French Pyrenees on the bike, visited the Wheels & Waves bike meet in Biarritz and spent three weeks meandering back up through France to Roscoff...another bike meet in Cornwall, then home.
So after that, we went on the Guzzi to our annual Quota Rally, this year in Sweden, and the vote for next years Rally was....yes you guessed it...the Spanish Pyrenees...same area two years on the run, I couldn't believe it!
So expensive ferry booked...£850....visited Bike Show....£85 discount.....result.
I felt sorry for the Swedes that intend to go....it's a long awkward route.

We have an annual Moto Guzzi Quota Rally and each year it alternates between North of the Alps or South.
Last summer was....2015 Sweden, 2014 Croatia, 2013 Wales, 2012 Lake Como Italy and our first 2011 Denmark.
