German DR BIG rally

Postby BigBob » Mon Oct 17, 2016 12:20 pm

As usual, the Germans are incredibly efficient and organised and have their DR BIG rally all organised for next June

Several of us went last year and it was superbly organised with over 200 Bigs there. Very friendly and they all speak English.
Anyone interested?

Sadly I have been informed that nearly all my holiday next year will be taken up driving her to Scotland stopping at various parts of the UK on the way there and back with a week or more getting bitten to death by midges around the lochs in the middle. As you may be able to tell the idea delights me
I have my wife's permission to keep breathing!!

Camping.
As in tents ................... not mincing about ;)
Drinking lots of beer and eating bratwurst obligatory, as is laughing at dreadful German jokes.

Just checked the dates and the Big meet is the same time as Abenteuer Allrad in Bad Kissengen as in previous years. So I will be splitting my time between the two like last time. Good news is that they are only about 140 Km's from each other compared to the 350 + Km's last time.
