Looks half decent Kyle. How much did Spen skin you for that ?

Headlight cowl might take a while to find as I think they were specific to that model. Get a big round light like the one they put on the 200 & 250 Gerbil or Djebel.

Trying to work out which model you have could well be fun and games as Suzuki made at least a dozen variations of styling/headlight cowl for different markets.
If you pm me your frame number I may well be able to identify it for you, as I still have all the lists of every Suzuki ever made up till about 2007
I used to have a 1990 kick only 650 that was an Italian import so I`m familiar with it (and still have the scars on my leg where it kicked back on me :eh: )
You should have a white sticker on the headstock about an inch square with an E number and I can tell the country of origin from that.
The bad news is that the correct cowl for your bike is now unobtainable from Suzuki, though one from the 600 or 350 should fit on. I think they all have the same 3 point fixing.
Wish I`d never sold mine , but when swmbo has her foot on your throat.............

thanks big bob was thinking the same thing ref the 350 cowl
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380948038692? ... EBIDX%3AIT
this one might fit with small modifications..
type sp44a....genre MTTE....dgm 53324om.....frame no. 0sp44a 1049520
im not too worried about keeping her original so might use nugs idea and get a round headlight..

she also seems a lot lower than my old one. the forks were dropped about an inch but i dont know if that will account for the full difference...was there a lowering kit for the rear suspension? would doubt it.

If your bike has the fixings for a screw either side of the headlamp and one underneath then the probability is that most of the old DR125/200, DR350 and DR600 will fit.
Check out CMSNL to see what will fit best.
Personally I`d get 51811-14A20-30H which should fit straight on, is the correct colour and costs about £50 new from Robinsons.
The back end should be the same as the Big so not adjustable.
However, the front forks use incredibly soft springs which drop it right down, so getting some progressive one is a very good idea.
Alternatively, if you have some old Big springs, then swap over. The Big ones are 1mm narrower but infinitely firmer and a tad longer and will do the job fine. Been there done that ;)
