Hi. I have a 1989 dr600 am having problems with the clutch. It was slipping slightly so i took it apart all the plate look ok and are in specification. I fitted new springs and one extra metal plate going by what i read somewhere. Put it all back together and the clutch wouldnt release even though it felt fine on the lever. Took apart again removed the extra plate. Same thing. Took apart again and added the plate again. And didnt do the centre nut up as tight. Clutch worked but was slipping like mad. What is the correct amount of plates metal and friction for the clutch. Also i dont have the wave washers fitted. Is the centre nut torque vital. As i dont have a clutch hold to be able to torque it. Just been using a small rattle gun. Any ideas. Thanks.
