Guys

Im in need of an oil cooler for the 750, mine has got a crack in the top hose mounting. Theres one on ebay thats advertised as being for a 750 or 800 dr but the mounting lugs dont look right to me. Does anybody know if they interchange or where I can source one for my bike?

Cheers

Put a link to the ad so we can see if its the right one. The 750-800 are the same.

Yeah, I didnt think so either.

Managed to find one in Germany whick will be roughly £80 quid by the time I get it posted, still, thats a damn sight better than £500 for a brand spanker!!! Off to see a guy about repairing mine but not too confident. Its got a hairline crack right through the top oilway / hose mounting. Was halfway to Scotland when it failed, managed to clag it up with plastic padding leak sealer to stem the flow, then kept topping oil up on the steady ride home. Drained it and removed cooler last night and she still had about 3 litres of oil in so hopefully no damage done. Will post a pic of crack later so you can see what I mean.
