Fuel leak

Petrol occasionally running down left hand casing.seems to be coming from behind spring on thottle bar.just looked in the manual and there are 2 oil seals on throttle shaft.anybody had the same problem and is it an easy fix?

Has nothing to do with the seals on the throttle shaft. Get some new O-rings for the float valves and check if the float needle is OK, 99% sure it will solve the problem.

In case the fuel is leaking from the throttle shaft (throttle bar) with no running engine, the fuel would run right into the cilinder as well :!:

There can not leak fuel from the thottle shaft, because on that level there can only be a mixture of air and sucked up fuel (only possible with running engine)
And this mixture is then sucked right into the cilinder.

DHC6 is right. The remaining 1% are the the float bowl seal or T-piece between the carbs.

BTW: the seals of the throttle shaft are made of some leather. To replace both these seals, you have to remove the throttle shaft. Thus removing the butterfly valve.
And I tried to remove some butterfly valves, but in all cases I ruined both carb bodies and butterfly valves. So forget this.

As far as viton seals and sizes Rene ..where do you get them from?
