750/800 carb refurb

Postby Deano » Thu Aug 10, 2017 12:07 pm

Is anyone rebuilding the carbs on their Big at the moment and up for an experiment???
I have been given a few sets of Viton O-rings from a supplier as samples but the sizes on some are very slightly off and as I have no carb issues at the moment do not want to pull them apart for no reason.

The sizes I have are 10.0 x 1.3, 2.5 x 1, 7.64 x 1.63 and 5.5 x 1.5.
If they work I can get these for about £2.00 per size for 100 of each plus a bit of carriage and could save forum members a mint.

So if someone fancies a go PM me your address and I will send a set in the post.

Good of you to offer them Deano. I have some carbs I will rebuild at some point but have no immediate need for them as my bike is all good at the moment (touch wood). I am sure somebody on here is more needy than me and will take you up on your offer

If the set is one of each Nath I have 5 of each size so probably have 3 spare sets as I would want to keep hold of a set and spare for future... they came as samples so cost me nothing so if you want some I will slap some in the post
