rebuild DR800 (SR42) vintage MX style

Postby olsb » Wed Sep 13, 2017 9:10 am

Hi guys!

Anyone tried a plastic mx style, e.g. early YZ/RM250?

I have some plans to copy this guy, but with my SR42 (1990):

Input always welcome!

I changed one of my Bigs years ago to a m/x style with a high front fender and smaller m/x style tank for riding off road but eventually changed it back as the high front fender was catching the wind at speed and making the bike weave about so I changed it back to standard.
By the lack of replies I don`t think many people on here think it`s a good idea.
