Genuine workshop manual

Postby Nick65 » Wed Sep 12, 2018 7:48 am

Looking for a genuine Suzuki workshop manual for a DR800 SR42. Can any one help.
I've already got a scanned copy from those scammers at emanualsonline and it's not what I want.
I would consider a photocopied version.

The link takes you to the website but it doesn't want to play when you select a file to download. :(

I'm attaching service manual for DR800.
This file comes from page that jamminbmx linked to, but I put some work into it myself:
- added bookmarks, that reflect all the chapter and such, so it's easier to navigate
- added empty pages where needed, so when it's printed out pages are where they supposed to be
- added custom page numbering, so that if manual says that details are on page, say 3-30 you can just put 3-30 in page number box in your pdf browser and it will know where to jump to

EDIT:
I was unable to send manual as attachment (because of the size, possibly), so I have put it on dropbox:

That's great. The manual is actually the same scanned copy I paid for and downloaded from the con artists at emanualsonline. Your copy will be much better to use because of the book marks. Can't wait to get stuck in.
Thanks again.

No problem, I did it for myself as it was a pain in the ass for me to move around this manual the way it was before.
The biggest downside of this scanned copy for me are B&W electrical schematics - if that also bothers you grab this link:
https://bollertante.de/site/index.php/d ... e-in-farbe
you can find high quality, full colour electrical schematics for all BIG versions over there
site is in german, but there is nothing technical that google translate wouldn't be able to tackle, and some schematics are also available in english directly

I also have "owner's manual", which is quite generic, and it does not seem to cover any topic that is not included in service manual, as far as I can see, and "parts list" which unfortunately is not so high quality, and I cannot establish which BIG version is it from, so I mostly use this page when looking for part number:
https://www.bike-parts-suz.com/suzuki-m ... 00-MOTO/DR
I find their drawings very high quality, so it's quite easy to find what you are looking for.
That said, if you are interested in owners manual and/or parts list just let me know, and I will upload them somewhere.

Job done. The website has an English version for an SR42 in full colour. I printed it off and it's ideal.
Thanks for the assistance.
