Now I have a conundrum my number plate holder rear light thing that is bodged on only fits a small sized rear lamp like the one I have.

This one looks a lot better but is too big:

I can bodge that on if I lower the number plate 6cm using the existing bracket. Its all becoming a bit off a mess there are small LED ones like the broken one but they are all from china and I dont want a small rear lamp really.

Ahhh with a bit of modification I can make a bolt on plate with spacers then I will only need to lower the rear plate about a cm.

Well I have decided to get rid of this plastic number plate and rear lamp bracket and replace it with a bit of 2.5mm stainless steel sheet cut to size off ebay. 15cm x 30cm I can put roughly a 140° bend in it and bolt it up using the four bolts that the plastic one bolts to. It will give me room for the lamp and the sheet will give the new lamp a bit of protection from water spray with the number plate bolted below.
