Questions regarding the DR800

on tour

I'm off with a few mates in 2 weeks to Dartmoor. This involves the m4 from Swansea til we turn off the other side of the bridge near Bridgewater . As my rev counter doesn't work what's a tidy speed for about a 2 hour run on the motorway without stressing the engine.

With standard gearing 70 is about right. You won`t get in trouble with Mr Plod either.
The Big is not the best motorway cruiser

Thanks i don't normally do motorways but West Wales to Dartmoor means m4 or a big detour.

Packed the top box (toothbrush and spare pants) and we leave 9am tomorrow. The weather looks good if anything too warm but it has to be done. The things we bikers have to put up with :roll:

Weather is what ever gets thrown at you..... Bob and myself always get cooked, frozen, soaked...you name it! We have been in minus 10 to + 40 with everything in between :lolno: All part of the fun I suppose?
