Robinsons to the rescue

Postby Deano » Fri Aug 03, 2018 9:34 am

So I appear to have sprung a leak on the quick release coupling joining the two tanks (the seal inside has had it), and have short term fixed it with a bit of copper tube but also noticed that the small heat shield on the inside of the exhaust is missing, oddly I don't think it had one when I got the bike and when I had the st.st exhaust made using the original as a template the guy replicated the mounts but I never even noticed until messing with the fuel lines. Anyhoo the upshot is I popped onto CSMNL to get part numbers and price, they might as well change their name to Dick Turpin the robbing bunch of bar-stewards. In total with tax and shipping it came to a gnats cock under £70 :o . I called Robinsons and asked for Michelle for my 10% discount and with tax and carriage it cost me a little over £33  , how can CSMNL get away with over double the price?
I have my wife's permission to keep breathing!!

As you say..... robbing barstewards. Their postal charges are utter theft.
