New s/clutch

Postby BigBob » Tue Feb 05, 2019 11:28 am

Needed a new one as mine has died after a mere 120,000 miles.
New one from those robbing kuntz at Suzuki GB is £336 plus p&p :o
New one from Megazip in Japan is £157 and even with 40 odd quid in postage works out at £201
Still far too much of course1

that's a bummer

is the puller M42x1.5mm?

I know the import from Japan is still a chunk but it's a pretty good discount on the suzuki gb one

I suppose you've seen the second hand one on ebay?

:)

From memory that is the correct size.
I certainly wouldn`t buy a second hand one off Ebay as the probability is that it is as knackered as the one I have

S/Clutch turned up today less than 2 weeks after I ordered it. Includes ring gear and bearings as well.
I guess that`s goodbye to lots of clunks, bangs and whirring with no motion when I press the starter button.
The price was less than half buying from Japan rather than from Suzuki GB. Robbing fukkers!
Well done Megazip. https://www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya- ... lov/suzuki
