What's the best you've done on a full tank(s)?

368 miles and still had a couple of litres left.
I was up in northern Norway and the only garage for about 100 miles was closed when I got there so I just rode at 55 mph and switched off and coasted down hills till I got to the next one
Wouldn`t want to do it again though.

An LPG conversion would make it cheaper to run.

Won't be getting his knee down with that lot hanging off the side

Whats wrong with being a cheap arse Deano ?

If you were really clever. You could get a doll of some big old sort (extra capacity) and conceal the gas reservoirs within the voluptuous curves of said beauty. You would have to mount her firmly NOT THAT WAY ! I mean like a set of pannier racks. There are no negatives.

The plus points.

Dual fuel capability

Reduced running costs

Permanent riding companion (no nagging either)

She has to stay on the bike so you don't get seen walking around with her

Increased security....at least if she looks like my bag for life, not even flies would stick to the screen !

Don't have to buy her an ice cream each time you stop

You could hang luggage off her

Keep the shit off your back when the going gets mucky

Win win chaps...nobody steal my idea

The best I've done on my DR750 on a full tank with no refills is 302 miles. It was just 2 months old so I guess now the range might be shorter. But overall I guess it depends on the terrain and whether you're coasting downhill.
